Is it Possible that a Simple, Automated Funnel Creates Lots of Sales?
When you focus on the key pieces of an effective funnel, getting results is easy. And with good instructions, it doesn’t take long to create.
How many marketing tactics do you use?
Social media, blogging, emails, ads, webinars, SEO… You have a lot to do when you run your own business.
And that’s a problem for most people. Your results aren’t what you want them to be, but the tactics you’ve tried haven’t changed it. And you don’t have time to build a massive sales funnel—even if you’d see some guide for it.

Most people who never get the freedom they’re working for wonder “what could’ve been.” And for most of them, what they dream of “would’ve been” within their reach.
But they didn’t focus on the right things.
You can spend any amount of time doing marketing and not get results. The time you spend doesn’t translate into sales if you don’t have a sales funnel that converts.

Let’s look at the alternative. Let’s say you’ve already built an effective sales funnel that creates sales consistently.
All you need to do then is get traffic to the first page of the funnel. You can use whatever method you like. Ads, social media, blogging…
And when people come to the first page, you make sales. It’s predictable and consistent.
That makes it easy to grow your business. You know, for example, that you make on average $3 for every new person who joins your list.
You can then spend $1 to get a new subscriber and get $3 back. Or you can just spend some time to drive the traffic “free” (not counting your time) and net the whole $3.
Multiply that by 10,000, and you see the power of an effective sales funnel. And why it’s almost impossible to grow your business without one.
But when people try to build a sales funnel for themselves, they usually get stuck. The things they’d have to do are too complicated, or they don’t have clear enough instructions.
And even with decent instructions, you will have questions about how to apply things into your business.
That’s why I never suggest to my clients that they would start with complicated funnels. You need something that works. And the simpler and clearer it is, the faster you start making more sales.

Do what you want to do—in your business and personal life
Your business isn’t only supposed to give you freedom to do what you love on your spare time and with your family. Even that’s more than what most business owners get. But it’s not all you should aim for.
When your sales funnel generates sales automatically, you can do what you want to do. Maybe it’s helping people. Maybe it’s creating content. Maybe it’s client work.
You don’t have to spend all your time thinking of what would make your marketing work.
People often talk about automated sales funnels. It’s so common that it seems like hype.
Yet, countless business owners have automated funnels. And you can have an effective, automated funnel as well almost regardless of what your business is like.
That said, in some situations you shouldn’t even try to automate your entire funnel. If you tried, you’d lose any chance you had to make sales.
But even in those situations, you can still automate most of your funnel. For example, service professionals often should add an application step into their funnel. A personal call is often also needed.

Don’t waste time on things you don’t need
A sales funnel doesn’t need to be complicated to work. You can make tons of sales without ever knowing how to use fancy technology.
You don’t need to track video consumption, customize emails dynamically, or use retargeting. You just need to make sales, right?
The sooner you have a high-converting sales funnel in place, the sooner you make more sales. The simpler the funnel and the more practical the instructions, the faster you can build it.
So, don’t fall for the idea that you need something fancy to make sales. The opportunities technology creates are intriguing, but they can also be a huge distraction.
Of course, you can get even better results when you use the great tools that are available. The only reason those great tools usually don’t seem to work is that people don’t know how to use them right.

2 – Your video
A key piece of the “PS Funnel” is the video. And as you probably already know, a well-built sales video generates more sales than almost anything else.
In this training, we go through the specific video structure you use in this funnel. You understand what each part of it is supposed to do, so you can create your own with ease.
The structure is similar to the most famous video sales letter structures. But it’s modified to work even better in the “PS Funnel” structure.
One difference separates this video structure from the usual ones. This one doesn’t feel like a sales video.
You’ve probably seen some basic sales videos. They might start with “I’ll let you in on a little-known secret about taxes the government doesn’t want you to know.” Or maybe they say, “Scientists just discovered this new plant that helps you lose weight.”
You don’t need to say anything sleazy like that. The video is genuinely interesting and useful. So, even if someone doesn’t buy, you still got to help them.
You get a structure template you can follow to create your own video. And we go through the structure during the training, so you know exactly what to do.

3 – Your emails
You’ll make some sales even without the emails. But they are an important part of this funnel structure.
The emails often quadruple the sales. So, don’t dismiss their importance.

These emails aren’t sales-y. So, no need to worry about hammering people with sales emails.

The simple funnel you build first can generate lots of sales automatically. But it’s not always the best possible structure.
If you sell something more expensive, you’re likely to get even more sales with the “PPS Funnel” structure.

The “PPS Funnel” structure is one of the most effective you can ever build. But even so, it’s not difficult with detailed instructions. And you don’t need to use any complicated technology to make it work.
4 – The videos (for the “PPS Funnel”)
These videos follow the same high-level structure you used for the simple funnel video. But there are some important differences.
Since there are four videos, you have a lot more time to go through things. So, you need to put in more information to keep the videos interesting.
But you can’t just put in whatever to fill the time. It all has to fit together in a way that keeps people interested and happy to watch them.
And most importantly, the videos need to make people want your product or service. If they don’t, what’s the point?
During this training, we go through the structures for each video. And you get structure templates you can follow to create your own videos.
5 – The emails (for the “PPS Funnel”)
The “PPS Funnel” has more emails than the simple funnel. And they all serve a purpose.
But you don’t have to write every one of them right away. You learn which ones to prioritize, so you get your “PPS Funnel” launched as quickly as possible.
The most important difference compared to the emails in the simple funnel is the “after funnel” follow-up.
Just those three emails can make a huge difference to your results.
Perhaps the best part about them is that you can add them to the simple funnel as well. You don’t need to create the extra videos to get the benefits from the “after funnel” follow-up.
We go through all the structures for the different types of emails during the training. And you get structure templates for each email, so writing them is easy for you.

Does this work in ___ market/industry? Can I sell ___ with these funnels?
Probably yes, but you can ask me via email if you want to be sure (contact {at} petersandeen {dot} com). But here’s a good guideline. If your product is more complicated and costs more than a tomato, these funnels will almost certainly work.
How does the personal support work?
If you don’t understand something, send me an email. Does it need to be more complicated than that? But to be clear, I can’t read through video scripts or emails. That would take weeks when there are many people in the course. So, when you reach out, please be specific about what you didn’t understand.
Does this work with ___ email service provider? Does this work with ___ website? Does this work with ___ video host?
Yes. You can do everything you learn with every email system (AWeber, MailChimp, Infusionsoft…). You can do everything you learn on practically any type of website (WordPress, Joomla…). And you can use any video host you want (Wistia, Vimeo, Yuvid, YouTube…).
Can I do this if I’m not good with technology?
Yes (probably). You need to be able to create a new page on your website and set up a few emails into your email system. And you need to be able to create a simple slideshow video (which is surprisingly easy). So, unless you’re scared of touching the mouse, you should be fine. And if a lot of people have questions about the tech, I’ll create a bonus about it.
I don’t have a product/service yet. Does this still work?
Not really, unless you sell affiliate products. If you have nothing to sell, what would the funnel be for? But as soon as you have a product/service to sell, you can use what you learn, so you’re welcome to join.
Do these funnels work if sell affiliate products?
Yes. You can sell other people’s products as an affiliate. And other people can send traffic to these funnels as your affiliates.
