FAQ
I’d like to interview you. Are you open to it?
Yep, just let me know what the interview is about, where it will be published, what kind of an audience will see it, and what format you’re thinking (text/audio/video). I’ll get back to you about the next steps.
I know you write a lot of guest posts. How can I hear about them?
Simple, “like” my Facebook page; that’s where I list all my guest posts.
Who designed/developed your website? Can you recommend them?
I built my site. However, I don’t sell web development.
That said, I do “wireframing,” which means creating sketch or “mockup” versions of pages that include the final copy and page elements (but no design like colors, exact shapes, etc.). If you’re looking to have a really effective website, getting someone who knows value propositions, marketing strategy, copywriting, and conversion optimization to create wireframes for you is a necessity.
If you’re interested, let’s talk more and see if we’re a good match. Just use the form below and tell me about your project.
I’m a business/marketing teacher/professor. I’d like to use your articles/resources in my classes. Are you okay with that?
Almost certainly, yes. Just tell where you got the materials, and I don’t mind your using my free materials for teaching purposes. But I’d like to hear what materials you’re using and how they work for you, so please contact me.
I wanted to leave a comment to one of your articles, but I couldn’t. Why is that?
I’ll publish an article about that soon. But simply put, the downsides far out-weighted the benefits of having comments enabled (in my case), so I disabled them.
I’d like to write a guest post for you. How should I proceed?
Thanks, but I don’t accept guest posts. Check this post for a long list of the best guest blogging sites (on that note, if you want your site listed, read the instructions in the post before you contact me).
I have a product/service/post/infographic/etc. I’m sure you want to use/share it.
I get these messages all the time. So, you can let me know what you have and why you think I’m interested. Just know that I don’t respond to most of these pitches. That said, if you sell website development, SEO, or SEM services, rather don’t clutter up my inbox—I get spam about these services so often that I won’t read more than the first sentence of your message anyway.
I’d like to advertise on your site…
I’m not interested in placing ads on my site.
